Father’s Day & 68’th Anniversary Celebration

Join us for coffee hour after the service today for a special celebration for all fathers and for Fred and Carol Pauling’s 68’th Wedding Anniversary. Their daughter, Melody, will be bringing a cake to commemorate the special occasions.

Hymn Sing on June 25

There will be a hymn sing in the sanctuary this Thursday, June 25, at 6:30 pm. We are working our way through the Gray Book. Come join us for an uplifting time praising the Lord with Jordan leading.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers Needed

Jenny Turbett can no longer serve as lay minister because of her and her Dad’s health. This means we will need an additional person (or people) to help serve during Sunday services. We will teach you what you need to do and you may choose which Sunday you would like to serve. Please contact Fr. Samuel or Phyllis Stewart if you would like to do this.

Ministry Leaders & Vestry Meet with Bishop Keith

During the next couple of years we will working with the Rt. Rev. Keith Andrews, former bishop of the Diocese of Western Anglicans to help grow our church. He is talking with Fr. Samuel monthly and will be making several visits to our church. His first visit will be July 9-11. Most of that time with be spent with Fr. Samuel but he would like to meet with the vestry and ministry leaders on Saturday, July 11, 9 am—12 pm in St. Andrew’s Room.

Home Blessings

Fr. Samuel would love to come and bless your home. A Home Blessing is a short service performed at your home with your family by Fr. Samuel. Please speak to him or Melody in the office to schedule a time.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies

Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. Notes for these studies may be found in the narthex the Sunday before. The next meeting is for the women on Friday, June 26.
