Rebecca Makuach’s Graduation Party
Fr. Samuel and Rebecca will be having their yearly open house, this year to celebrate Rebecca’s graduation from high school, on Thursday, June 18, from 10 am to 2 pm at their home. Please come to celebrate and fellowship.
Father’s Day & 68’th Anniversary Celebration
Join us for coffee hour after the service next Sunday, June 21, for a special celebration for all fathers and for Fred and Carol Pauling’s 68’th Wedding Anniversary. Their daughter, Melody, will be bringing a cake to commemorate the special occasions.
Hymn Sing on June 25
There will be a hymn sing in the sanctuary on Thursday, June 25, at 6:30 pm. We are working our way through the Gray Book. Come join us for an uplifting time praising the Lord with Jordan leading.
Fr. Samuel to Publish a Book
Fr. Samuel has written a book with the help of Laura Quezada, but funds are needed to get it published. Laura has set up a Go Fund Me page to help him raise the funds to get this done. If you would like to help, go to https://gofund.me/b416a6aa7
Ministry to Sailors on Base
Please speak with Fr. Samuel if you are interested in our new ministry to the sailors, preparing one meal a month for them. Training and food will be provided. They only need your time and effort. Fr. Samuel will be collecting your info to get you on the base.
Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies
Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. Notes for these studies may be found in the narthex the Sunday before. The next meeting is for the men on Friday, June 19.
