Fr. Samuel Out of the Office

Fr. Samuel and his family are settling into their new home, the Quinnelly’s former home, and cleaning their old apartment between September 29-30. He will be in town, so available for any emergencies. He will resume regular office hours on October 1.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies

Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. The next meeting is for the women on Friday, October 3.

Sign up to Bring Snacks for Coffee Hour

If you enjoy fellowship and goodies after church on Sundays, consider signing up one week to bring something for coffee hour. There is a signup sheet on one of the refrigerators in the kitchen. There are lots of dates open.

Last Sunday to Give to Mission of the Third Quarter

The third quarter ends at the conclusion of the month, so today is the last Sunday to give to the Voice of the Martyrs through our Mission of the Quarter. You may find more information about this ministry in the September Herald or at persecution.com. Donations may be placed in the offering plated marked for mission of the quarter or brought into the office through October 1.

Daughters of Christ the King

The DCK will be meeting next Sunday, October 5, after the service in the Rector’s Office for their regular monthly meeting.

Evensong Service & Light Meal for IDOP

On Wednesday, October 15, at 5:00 pm we will be having an Evensong service and light meal for our community to honor those advanced in years. The International Day of Older Persons (IDOP) is celebrated for the whole month of October in our community. Jordan is organizing the service and Jo Stauffer is coordinating the meal. Please contact her if you would like to assist in food preparation.

Ministry Outreach to Cero Coso Community College (CCCC) Students

Please be praying for the initiation of a ministry by CTK to CCCC students. Please be praying continuously and about how you can personally be involved.
