Hymn Sing This Thursday
There will be a hymn sing in the sanctuary this Thursday, May 7, at 6:30 pm. Come join us for an uplifting time praising the Lord with Jordan leading.
Church Yard Sale This Friday & Saturday
There will be a yard sale for our church at Nancy’s home, this Friday and Saturday, May 8 & 9. The sale will be from 8 am to 4 pm on Friday and from 8 am to noon on Saturday. Please be looking around your home for things you are no longer using and bring them to Nancy’s house this Wednesday May 6. Contact Nancy to set up a time to drop your things off.
Seminar for Men and Women
On Saturday, May 16, from 10 am to 3 pm, we will be having the first part of a seminar led by Dcn. Judy Battershell entitled The Basic Gift Package from God. There will be a pizza lunch so please R.S.V.P. to Melody in the office if you plan to attend. You may bring snacks, desserts, or sides to go with the pizza. The second part of the seminar will be on June 13.
No Bible Study or Service This Wednesday
There will not be a 10 am Lectionary Bible Study or Noon Eucharist Service on May 6, this Wednesday, because Fr. Samuel and Deacon Debby will be attending the Clergy Retreat.
Office Closed on Thursday
The office will be closed this Thursday, May 7, so Melody may take her mother for surgery. The office is typically open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Pregnancy Care Center Fundraiser Today
Please stop by the Pizza Factory this Sunday, May 3, and mention the Pregnancy Care Center when you order, and a portion of the sale will go to the Pregnancy Care Center.
Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies
Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. Notes for these studies may be found in the narthex the Sunday before. The next meeting is for the men on Friday, May 8.
Women’s Ministry Planning Meeting
There will be a planning meeting for women’s ministry on Friday, May 15, at 4:00 pm in St. Andrew’s Room. All the ladies are invited to attend and come with ideas to share.
