Join us for Lunch

The second Tuesday of the month lunch group will be eating at Taqueria Bernardino’s on Downs at 1 pm on March 10th. Anyone is welcome.

Bishop to Visit

Our bishop will be visiting next Sunday, March 15. After the service, we plan to have a potluck (sign-up sheet in St. Andrew’s Room) and the bishop will be presenting a capital campaign for the diocese to build a cathedral.

Lenten Book Study and Soup Suppers

We are having a Lenten Study on Saturdays in Lent, through March 28, from 4:00—5:30 pm, in St. Andrew’s Room. There will be no meeting on March 14 since the Bishop will be visiting that weekend. We are using the book Lent, The Season of Repentance and Renewal, by Esau McCaully. The books are available from Fr. Samuel for $10 a piece.

Evensong Service

There will be an Evensong Service, which is evening prayer set to music, on Wednesday, March 25, at 5:00 pm in the sanctuary. Please come and close your day with this beautiful sung service.

Sign-up List Available for Easter Food Baskets

We plan to do food baskets for four families this Easter. Sign-up sheets are available in the narthex. Please sign up for the items you plan to bring and then put them on the shelves marked “Food Baskets” or in the refrigerator in the church kitchen by Sunday, March 29. Items may also be dropped off during office hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Mission of the First Quarter

The Mission of the First Quarter is The 44 Cent Cure from World Concern. The 44 Cent Cure is one low cost pill that cures common intestinal illnesses frequent in those with unclean water. A small donation makes a big difference in someone’s life. Everyone can help. Please place your donations in the offering plate, marked Mission of the Quarter.
