Baby Shower for Coverts

There will be a baby shower this Sunday for Britta Covert from 1:30—3:30 pm in St. Andrew’s room.

Intermittent Office Hours

There will be intermittent office hours from February 4-26 while Melody is on a mission trip. Please call Fr. Samuel before dropping by the office to make sure he is there.

Have Lunch with Friends

Second Tuesday of the month Group Lunch on February 11, at 1 pm at the new Casey's location on Drummond - enter on Heritage Drive left into parking lot.

Funeral for Jo Stauffer

The Funeral Service and viewing for Jo Stauffer will be at the Holland & Lyon’s Chapel from 1-4 pm on Wednesday, February 11. There will be no regular noon Eucharist Service on that day at the church.

Pregnancy Care Center Fundraisers

Please stop by the Pizza Factory this Wednesday, February 11, and mention the Pregnancy Care Center when you order, and a portion of the sale will go to the Pregnancy Care Center. Other dates in the coming months are April 15 and May 3. Mark your calendars.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies

Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. Notes for these studies may be found in the narthex the Sunday before. The next meeting is for the men on Friday, February 13.

Join Us for a Movie

Everyone is invited on Saturday, February 14, at 1:00 pm in St. Andrew’s Room, to watch the movie Little Boy. It is two hours long and will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. Come a few minutes early to get settled, and bring a sweet or savory snack to share.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

Join us in St. Andrew’s room on February 17 at 5 pm for the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner. Pancakes, sausage, and juice will be provided. Donations will be accepted to defray costs and you are welcome to bring a side dish to share.

Ash Wednesday Services

There will be Holy Eucharist with the Imposition of Ashes on Wednesday, February 18, at 12 pm and 5 pm in the sanctuary.

Lenten Book Study and Soup Suppers

We will be having a Lenten Study for five Saturdays in Lent, February 21—March 21, from 4:00—5:30 pm, in St. Andrew’s Room. We will be using the book Lent, The Season of Repentance and Renewal, by Esau McCaully. The books are available from Fr. Samuel for $10 a piece. Please let him know if you would be available to bring soup or bread the first week. After that, there will be a sign up sheet.

Bishop to Visit

Our bishop will be visiting on March 15. After the service, we plan to have a potluck and the bishop will be presenting a capital campaign for the diocese to build a cathedral.
