Bishop to Visit

Our bishop will be visiting on March 15. If you would like to be confirmed or received into our church, please speak with Fr. Samuel as soon as possible. He would like to give you some instruction before that time.

Office Closed on Monday

The office will be closed on Monday, January 19, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am—2:30 pm.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies

Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. Notes for these studies may be found in the narthex the Sunday before. The next meeting is for the women on Friday, January 23.

Annual Reports in Your Mail Folder

Your annual report is in your mail folder in the narthex. If you take it home, be sure to bring it back next Sunday for the meeting.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will be next Sunday, January 25, following the service. Please come and hear about all God has done at Christ the King Anglican Church this past year and how we plan to follow Him in the coming year. We will also be electing vestry members.

Serve as a Vestry Member

We are in need of three new vestry members for the coming year. We need one for a 2-year term and two for a 3-year term. Please speak with Fr. Samuel if you are interested in one of the positions or to learn more.

Liturgical Calendars Available for Purchase

There are a limited number of liturgical calendars available for purchase at the office for $5.00 each. Please let Melody know if you would like one.

Mission to Asia

Melody & her husband leave for three counties in Asia at the beginning of next month. They are behind in their fundraising.
