Birthday Cake at Coffee Hour for Jakob

Jakob turned 3 on August 6! Fr. Samuel has a cake for coffee hour. Please stay after the service and join them in St. Andrew’s room to celebrate.

Evensong Service

There will be an Evensong Service, which is evening prayer set to music, on Wednesday, August 12, at 5:00 pm in the sanctuary. Please come and close your day with this beautiful sung service.

Hymn Sing Next Thursday

There will be a hymn sing in the sanctuary on Thursday, August 20, at 6:30 pm. Come join us for an uplifting time praising the Lord with Jordan leading. We are having a great time going through the Gray Book.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies

Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men will now be meeting in St. Andrew’s room at 10 am on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. Notes for these studies may be found in the narthex the Sunday before. The next meeting is for the men on Friday, August 14.

Pregnancy Care Center Fundraiser

Please stop by the Pizza Factory today and mention the Pregnancy Care Center when you order, and a portion of the sale will go to the Pregnancy Care Center.

Meal Ministry to Sailors on Base

If you signed up to help with the Wednesday meals on base once a month and don’t have a pass to get on the base, please turn in your form for your badge to Fr. Samuel by next Sunday. We will be starting our meals soon.

Bella Sera Service

August 30th is the fifth Sunday of the month which means Christ the King Anglican Church is leading the worship service at our local nursing home, Bella Sera. It is helpful to have as many members of our church there as possible to assist and encourage the residents before, during, and after the 3 pm service. Please speak with Fr. Samuel if you would like to help or need more information.
