Ministry to Sailors
Those who have signed up to help serve a meal to the sailors on base will be going to observe a meal this Wednesday. Check with Fr. Samuel for more details.

M&Ms Ladies Meeting
M&Ms will meet at 4:30 pm on Friday, July 24 in St Andrew’s Room. Bring an appetizer, soup or snack, and a friend. Among other things, we will be planning the Ice Cream Social on August 7.
Sierra Sands Unified School District Party in the Parking Lot
Christ the King Anglican Church will be having a table at the SSUSCD Party in the Parking Lot at 1305 N. Norma (next to the old Albertson’s) on Thursday, July 30, from 6-8 pm. We will have information available about our church and will be handing out popsicles and pens with our church’s name, address, phone number, and website on them. Please speak to Fr. Samuel if you would like to help out.
Mission of the Quarter
Fr. Richard and Martha Menees are our mission of the Third Quarter. They have been serving in Uganda for the past three years as missionaries and plan to stay for one more year. They are in need of monetary and prayer support. Please place your gift in the offering plate marked Mission of the Quarter. You can find their most recent newsletter on the bulletin board in the narthex.
Sermon Notes on Website
Fr. Samuel’s sermon notes from Wednesdays and Sundays are now on the website for you to review. They are in the same area as these announcements. Melody will keep them there for about 2 weeks. You also can find the monthly calendar and newsletter there.
Hymn Sing on July 23
There will be a hymn sing in the sanctuary Thursday, July 23, at 6:30 pm. We are working our way through the Gray Book. Come join us for an uplifting time praising the Lord with Jordan leading.
Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies
Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. Notes for these studies may be found in the narthex the Sunday before. The next meeting is for the men on Friday, July 17.
