Men’s & Women’s Bible Studies
Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. The next meeting is for the men on Friday, August 29.
Bella Sera Service on August 31
August 31 is a fifth Sunday of the month which means Christ the King Anglican Church is leading the worship service at our local nursing home, Bella Sera. It is helpful to have as many members of our church there as possible to assist and encourage the residents before, during, and after the 3 pm service. Please speak with Fr. Samuel if you would like to help or need more information.
Glenda Blackshaw’s Funeral
Glenda’s funeral will be on Saturday, September 6, at 10 am, in our sanctuary. There will be a reception to follow in St. Andrew’s room. Please speak to Jo Stauffer if you would like to assist with food or set up.
New Ministry & Fellowship Gathering
Come to Deacon Debby’s house on Tuesday, September 9, at 5 pm. Please bring a main dish, salad, or appetizer to share. The beverage provided will be water. Please confirm your planned attendance with Deacon Debby.
Diocesan Capital Campaign: Laying a Firm Foundation
Our bishop is asking that you pray about being involved in giving so the Diocese can buy property for their offices, ministry, and a Cathedral. Please speak to Fr. Samuel if you are able to give a large gift toward this campaign. Contact Melody if you would like a computerized copy of the Vision Brochure.
