Intermittent Office Hours

There will be intermittent office hours through July 23 while Melody is on vacation. Please call Fr. Samuel if you need anything or to verify someone will be there before you come.

Join Us for a Sung Evening Prayer Service on July 16

There will be an Evensong service this Wednesday, July 16, at 5:00 pm in the sanctuary. Join us as we worship the Lord with a beautiful evening prayer service that is mostly sung.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies

Fr. Samuel has men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. The next meeting is for the men on Friday, July 18.

Volunteers Needed

In Anglican worship you are invited to participate, not just be a spectator. We need people to serve as lay ministers, on the altar guild, in the nursery, for coffee hour, and more. If you are willing to help, please speak to Fr. Samuel.

Intercessory Prayer Desk

The intercessory prayer desk in the narthex is available for anyone who would like to receive prayer, the laying on of hands, and anointing. Intercessory prayer takes place at the prayer desk in the narthex immediately after you have received communion. The intercessory prayer desk is a ministry of both the clergy of Christ the King and the Daughters of Christ the King.

Food for the Needy

We collect nonperishable food items every Sunday during our services to bring to St. Ann’s Food Pantry. There are many needy people in Ridgecrest that are greatly blessed by their food pantry that is open from 9-11 am, Tuesday through Friday. They provide food to anyone who has a need as often as once a week. Please consider bringing an item or two each week to church with you and placing them in the brown square basket near the offering plate in the narthex.
